Anushka Sharma Early life and modelling career

Anushka Sharma was born in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, on May 1, 1988. Colonel Ajay Kumar Sharma, her father, is an army officer, and Ashima Sharma, her mother, is a housewife. Her ancestral house is on Naishvilla road in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, where her father stayed before entering the Indian army. Urmila, Anushka Sharma’s grandma, still lives with them. Sharma spent her formative years in Sheela Bhawan on Nashville Road.

Her father is from Uttar Pradesh, while her mother is from the Garhwal region. Karnesh Sharma, her older brother, is a film producer who formerly served in the Merchant Navy. Sharma has remarked that growing up as a military brat had a significant impact on her development as a person and contribution to her life. “I take pleasure in announcing that I am an army officer’s daughter even more than being an actor,” she stated in a 2012 interview with The Times of India.
Sharma was born and reared in the city of Bangalore. However, she attended St. Mary’s School in Margherita, Assam, for her elementary education. Sakshi Dhoni, M.S Dhoni’s wife, was a classmate of hers at the time. She finished her education at Bangalore’s Army School.

She had no intention of becoming an actor and instead planned to pursue a career in modeling or journalism. Sharma relocated to Mumbai after college to pursue her modeling profession. She enlisted at Elite Model Management and was developed by Prasad Bidapa, a style consultant. Sharma made her runway debut in 2007 for designer Wendell Rodricks’ Les Vamps Show at Lakme Fashion Week and was chosen as his finale model for the Spring Summer 2007 Collection. She’s done ads for Silk & Shine, Whisper, Nathella Jewelry, and Fiat Palio since then. “I suppose I was born to emote and act,” Sharma subsequently added.
