As the year comes to an end, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Salaar:: Part 1 – Ceasefire. According to Sacnilk.com, the film has already amassed more than ₹1 crore through early ticket sales. Directed by filmmaker Prashanth Neel, this forthcoming action-adventure features Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in leading roles. As per the report, the film has seen the following ticket sales and gross earnings across various languages: In Telugu, 35,215 tickets were sold for 174 shows, amassing a gross of ₹80.30 lakh. In Malayalam, 13,988 tickets were sold for 552 shows, resulting in a gross of ₹21.03 lakh. In Tamil and Kannada, the numbers stood at 1,093 and 12 tickets sold for 72 and two shows, respectively.
Advance ticket sales generated a gross income of ₹1.76 lakh in Tamil and ₹1,900 in Kannada. 972 tickets were sold across 67 shows for the Hindi version, accumulating ₹2.06 lakh. Salaar has sold 51,280 tickets across 867 shows, accumulating a total gross of ₹1.05 crore. Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films is the producer of Salaar, marking the inaugural installment of this pan-India film series.

As per the narrative details provided by Hombale Films, Salaar encapsulates an “exceptional narrative of rebellion infused with intense action sequences and resonant music.” The film features a cast comprising Shruthi Haasan, Tinu Anand, Eshwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, and Garuda Ram. Stunt choreography is attributed to Anbarivu, while Ravi Basrur is responsible for the music. Salaar is scheduled to premiere in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi on December 22, a day after Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki hits the screens.

The eagerly anticipated Salaar trailer was recently revealed. Prabhas took to Instagram and delighted fans by sharing the trailer video, accompanied by the caption, “Please…I…Kindly…Request! Here’s #SalaarTrailer… See you in theatres on Dec 22nd, 2023.” The video portrays two close friends walking together in the rain.
One of them advises Deva to let it go, but he responds, “Who is it?” As the trailer progresses, it showcases the evolution of their friendship and the unwavering commitment one has for the other. This is followed by a flashback sequence. The trailer also touches upon the Mughals and their devastation of tribes, specifically highlighting the Khansaar tribe and their defensive stance. Furthermore, glimpses of Shruti Haasan are also featured in the video.
