Sakshi Mandwal has associated with all the frontiers of media in the last 15 years, She feels blessed, junked, and grateful for having had the opportunity to work for some of the best brands in the industry. None of it happened overnight. But, with persistence, discipline, self-belief, and a vision, I can confidently say, that nothing, absolutely nothing is unachievable.

She has covered almost all the major sports tournaments both national and international, over the years, for both television and radio. Some of these include Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, Olympics, National games, and South East Asian games for the National broadcaster Doordarshan and also for All India Radio. Her love for cricket is also one of the major reasons, she took to be in the broadcast industry. Sakshi Mandwal grew up watching cricket and understanding the game and its technicalities from her father. And hence it was natural to have a passion for sports journalism. When it comes to cricket Sakshi Mandwal has covered ODI World Cup (s), T20 World Cup (s), test cricket, and IPL over the years regularly, in the capacity of a sports anchor and cricket analyst for the national broadcaster Doordarshan, All India Radio, Glance Screen (digital) and for the YouTube brand Sportsyaari. She guessed the cherry on the cake for Sakshi Mandwal would be India winning the T20 World Cup this year, as She covered it live from the studios of All India Radio. 

Hosting the red carpet of the 73rd National Awards will always be one of her biggest career highlights. Meeting and interacting with actors from across the Indian industry, some of which include Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Vivek Agnihotri, Shreya Ghoshal, Kriti Sanon, R. Madhavan, Allu Arjun, SS Rajamouli and Pallavi Joshi, was not just an enriching lifetime experience but also a deeply fulfilling one.

Sakshi Mandwal’s love for cricket and sports, in general, has provided her opportunities to interview renowned cricketers like Yuzvendra Chahal, Rohit Sharma, Dinesh Karthik, Waqar Younis, Lisa Sthalekar, Mohd Kaif, Kieron Pollard, JP Duminy, Mustafizur Rehman, Mitchell McClenaghan, The Mumbai Indian franchise, table tennis star Manika Batra, among many others. -Another work memory that she deeply cherishes is being able to host the 71st Independence Day celebrations of India, live from the ramparts of Red Fort in the presence of the Honourable Prime Minister of our country, Sri. Narendra Modi. 

Anchored and moderated a path-breaking show that ran for over a decade called “Good Evening India” for DD National. A live television show whose aim was to bring renowned people from all walks of life, be it politics, sports, actors, singers, doctors, lawyers, athletes, professors, or farmers. Will forever hold my head in gratitude to one of my early mentors in life Mr. S.S. Bhakoo, who chose to believe in my skills very early on in Sakshi Mandwal’s career and gave her the chance to become the face of this weekly show. 

Another career achievement that is very close to her heart is a show called ‘Celebrity Chit Chat’ that Sakshi Mandwal did for the reputed brand Dainik Jagran. In 2020 when the whole world came to a standstill because of Covid, She knew Sakshi Mandwal had to do something productive to keep her brain occupied. It was during that time that we started this show. Renowned industry names like Musician Anu Malik, Singer Papon, the football legend Sunil Chettri, Actor Chitrangada, Jwala Gutta, actor Bobby Deol, singer Aditya Narayan, casting director Mukesh Chhabra, Actor Anupriya Goenka, actor Namit Das, actor Suresh Oberoi, actor Amaal Malik among many others, chose to grace the show with their presence. Today when Sakshi Mandwal looks back, She has a heart full of gratitude and some deeply cherished work memories that she made on that show.

Interviewed actor Pooja Bhatt and actor Saurabh Shukla among others for the Jagran film festival. Have also interviewed Actors Randeep Hooda and Sonu Sood, who host movie launch events. 

Beyond the world of television and digital media, She is also into hosting events. That has provided me the opportunities to work as an emcee for the various ministries of the Government of India. Some of these include Uttarakhand Tourism, the Government of Goa, the Uttar Pradesh government, The Andhra Pradesh government, the Indian Steel Association, the Ministry of Coal (govt of India), and Railtel, among many others. Sakshi Mandwal’s work has provided the platform to work in close association with the various esteemed ministers of our country like the honorable prime minister of our country Sri Narendra Modi; former president of India, Sri. Ram Nath Kovind; Honourable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Sri. Yogi Adityanath; Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N.Chandrababu Naidu; Honourable Minister of State for External Affairs and Minister of State for Culture Meenakshi Lekhi; Honourable Minister of Tourism, Culture and Minister of Development of North Eastern Region Sri. Gangaram Kishan Reddy; Former Minister of Sports, Youth Affairs, and Minister of Information and Broadcasting, India, Sri. Anurag Thakur; Minister of Consumer affairs, food and public distribution Sri. Prahlad Joshi, who is also the former Hon’ble Minister of Coal, Mines and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India; former Honourable Union Minister of State for Railways and Textiles Smt. Darshana Jardosh; among many others. Deeply grateful. 

Interviewing the Honourable Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Sri. Pushkar Singh Dhami and his wife Smt. Geeta Dhami for ‘Uttarakhand Shree Samman’ is a cherished memory, for which She is deeply grateful. 

Hosting the Exhibition Excellence Awards for UTV Bloomberg and Zee Business, where industry stalwarts from across the country come to be a part of them, is another valued work accomplishment. 

Sakshi Mandwal interacted with and interviewed Femina Mrs. India 2014 Koyal Rana; Miss UN 2017 Amisha; Mrs. India Homemaker 2018 Bhawna Gupta, as they came together to launch the brand Mahiri (a clothing range) created by underprivileged women to empower them and give them a voice. 
Another work association She holds close to her heart is hosting events for the Paralympic Committee of India. It has provided her the opportunity to be able to interview Padma Shri, Khel Tatha, and Arjuna Awardee and President of the Paralympic Committee of India Smt. Deepa Malik and also our Paralympians who have time and again made our country proud on the global stage. Meeting and interacting with Archer Sheetal Devi, Arjuna Awardee Bhavina Patel, Arjuna Awardee and Badminton player Manoj Sarkar, Indian high jumper Sharad Kumar and Nishad Kumar, Badminton player Pramod Bhagat and the rest of our Paralympic contingent, is a memory Sakshi Mandwal hold very close to her heart. 

Hosted “Poorvanchal Sammaan Samaroh” for Live Hindustan. An event graced by the presence of the Honourable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Sri. Yogi Adityanath. 

An honor to have commentated for the National Sports and Adventure Awards 2018. She feels that being in a place as sacred and a place that is the pride of our country, Rashtrapati Bhawan is an emotion She may never be able to put into words. Graced by the presence of the honorable President of the country, Sri Ram Nath Kovind, the ceremony witnessed the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Awards 2018 being conferred to Virat Kohli and Mirabai Chanu in the sport of cricket and weightlifting respectively.

Hosted projects initiated by the Honourable Prime minster of Our country Sri Narendra Modi some of which include Aatma Nirbhar Bharat, Lighthouse India: Poshan Abhiyaan (a drive to fight undernutrition), and Azadi ka Amrit mahotsav for Zee News. Being present and commentating for the national broadcaster DD National, in Vigyan Bhawan, while the Honourable prime minister of our country Sri. Narendra Modi launched the Ayushman Bharat: Arogya Manthan scheme is another memory She will always be deeply grateful for and cherish it. 

Hosted the logo launch of the 37th National Games 2023 in Goa which was graced by the presence of the Honourable Minister of Art and Culture, Civil Supplies and Price Control and Tribal Welfare Sri. Govind Gaude among many other esteemed dignitaries who were also present for the occasion. 

Hosted and Moderated the week-long International Yog Festival 2023 and 2024 organized by Uttarakhand Tourism and Hindustan Times. The event was graced by the presence of Shri. Pushkar Singh Dhami, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand; Sh. Satpal Maharaj Hon’ble Minister of Tourism; Sh. Premchand Aggarwal, Member of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, among many other prestigious dignitaries. Moderating sessions where She got to speak and interview people like celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwakar, Dilrajpreet Kaur from the Uttarakhand government; who is also the brand ambassador of yoga; Dr. Priya Ahuja who holds the Guinness world record for longest duration hold of Asht vakrasan; TedX speaker Virat Chirania; celebrity yoga and wellness expert Anshuka yoga are a few names that platforms like these provide the base for knowledge and information to reach out to the masses. That she can be a small medium contributor to it, is a blessing that She never takes for granted. 

Have worked with the Indian Olympics association also in the capacity of an emcee for them. One of Sakshi Mandwal’s most cherished memories includes hosting the Felicitation ceremony of Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games Athletes for the Athletics Federation of India. Graced by the presence of Dr. Adille J Sumariwalla (President, Athletics Federation of India); Mr. Ravinder Chaudhry (Secretary, Athletics Federation of India); Mr. Lalit Bhanot (Planning Commission Chairman, Athletics Federation of India) among several other dignitaries; the event also saw Senior Vice President, Athletics Federation of India: Anju Bobby George, Gracing the occasion and applauding the Indian contingent for their valiant efforts. An interaction with the Olympic champion and World champion in Men’s javelin throw Neeraj Chopra will forever be my most coveted work memory for Sakshi Mandwal.
