OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR INVESTMENTS

One can invest in Physical assets or Financial assets.
Physical assets cover Gold, Real estate, commodities etc., and or Financial assets such as insurance, pension fund/provident fund or securities market instruments.
Investment can be done for short term or long term based on ones need.


SHORT TERM INVESTMENT OPTIONS:


Any investment made for less than one year is treated as short term investments.
1) Savings Bank Account:
Most common bank option used by many which gives 4-6% of interest.
2) Money Market:
Specialized form of mutual funds which invests the money into short term fixed income instruments providing liquidity. It protects the capital and there by maximizes the returns.


3) Fixed deposits with Banks:
One can invest in fixed deposits as less as 30 days. It perfectly suits the investors with low risk appetite.
