Jagannath Gattu: A small hill adjacent to Kurnool town. On the way from town to Nandyala, there is a road to this hill, passing G. Pullareddy Engineering College. As the Rupa Sangameshwara Temple of Sangameshwara Temples was moved here, this hill gained prominence. There is an idol of Abhayanjaneya Swamy near it. The Indian Institute of Information Technology and Design (IIITDM) is located on the way from the temple to the Anjaneya Swamy idol.

We may be familiar with a variety of plant species. However, there is a palm tree on the jaganatha Gattu that evolved from a pepal tree and serves as a miraculous landmark there.

In the evenings on the hill, a stunning sunset view looks impressive.

The hilltop offers a panoramic view of the entire city. The views of the Bangalore highway from a hilltop look like a piece of art.

We may observe a large Nandi at the sides of the road ways and a temple dedicated to Lord Ganesh at Jaganatha Gattu’s entrance. The Jaganatha Gattu is not only well-known for the presence of Lord Shiva, nearby mosques serve as a reminder of the concept of unity in diversity.
