Jagannath Gattu: A small hill adjacent to Kurnool town. On the way from town to Nandyala, there is a road to this hill, passing G. Pullareddy Engineering College. As the Rupa Sangameshwara Temple of Sangameshwara Temples was moved here, this hill gained prominence. There is an idol of Abhayanjaneya Swamy near it. The Indian Institute of Information Technology and Design (IIITDM) is located on the way from the temple to the Anjaneya Swamy idol.
History:
A well-liked tourist destination in Kurnool is the Jagannatha Gattu Temple. It is situated in Kurnool’s B. Thandrapadu and is well-known for housing the Lord Shiva Temple. The Linga is a well-known location because of its rich history. According to mythology, the Pandava Prince Bheema mainly bought the Shivalinga at the temple. The Shivalinga is constructed from granite. The Shivalinga has a 6 foot height and a 2 foot width

The hill is covered in granite stones that are stacked all around. Near the fame of the temple, an IIT institution with the best facilities is being constructed. The RTO office in Kurnool is located on Jaganatha Gattu Road
Attraction:
We may be familiar with a variety of plant species. However, there is a palm tree on the jaganatha Gattu that evolved from a pepal tree and serves as a miraculous landmark there.
In the evenings on the hill, a stunning sunset view looks impressive.
The hilltop offers a panoramic view of the entire city. The views of the Bangalore highway from a hilltop look like a piece of art.
We may observe a large Nandi at the sides of the road ways and a temple dedicated to Lord Ganesh at Jaganatha Gattu’s entrance. The Jaganatha Gattu is not only well-known for the presence of Lord Shiva, nearby mosques serve as a reminder of the concept of unity in diversity.
