It depends on what emotion I want to stir.
And this is how I do it⬇️
💡 Identifying the Purpose
Every event has a purpose. Am I here to inform, inspire, entertain, or persuade? That purpose guides everything.
🎭 Sensing the Vibe
Understanding the audience’s mood is crucial. I need to tailor my words and energy based on the vibe of the room, syncing perfectly with my listeners.
📚 Spinning the Story
Identifying those key points in my preparation that, if narrated well, can leave a lasting impact. I then take hours to perfect what should seem like an impromptu moment 😉
🎙️ Owning the Mic
How I say something is just as important as what I say. My tone, pace, and body language need to convey the same intended emotion.
👂Active Listening
Listening to audience reactions in real-time helps me know if I am hitting the right chord or need to pivot.
It’s not just about speaking; it’s about using every word, every gesture, every pause as a tool to craft moments that linger long after the show ends.
